The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET management would like to thank everyone who attended the show this past weekend because without your support, we would not be able to hold these types of events. Also, thank you to the individuals who donated a new toy and/or cash to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. We were not sure what the turnout would be because of the colder weather recently in our area but that was the largest gathering that we have had since teaming up with the creators of the Mischief DVD movie series and the owners of Dash Motors & Performance. The caliber of cars was amazing as always and definitely a perfect show to end the 2021 season.

A huge thanks to all that came out to Frederick Nissan's Import Car Show and Festival to help support our U.S. Troops. The turn out was larger than we anticipated and after calculating the proceeds from the car show and also the extra donations that several individuals gave, Frederick Nissan was able to provide Keystone Soldiers with a check worth $2,000. The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET (MAMM) Management would like to thank everyone who attended the show this past weekend because without your support, we would not be able to hold these types of events. In the beginning, the Boys and Girls Clubs contacted the MAMM to help organize and advertise a car show for them. Even though we did not normally do this type of event, we are 100% pleased that we became involved because over $26,000 was raised to help support their goal of inspiring and enabling young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

However, our ultimate goal has always been to hold a MEGA MEET event like how it used to be at the VDOT lot and we hope to have a huge surprise for everyone in the upcoming 2018 season. Thanks again for all the support and have a great holiday season.

The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET was an organized car meet with the permission of VDOT during the 2015/2016 season. However, due to its extreme popularity the meet had to be cancelled because the parking lot was just not big enough. Our passion for this type of event never left our hearts and we have now been given the opportunity to hold a charity show event where 100% of the proceeds go to the local Boys and Girls Clubs. It is scheduled for the 29th of September, 2017 at the Prince William Fair Grounds and we are expecting a HUGE turnout. Please click on the Fall Show flyer above for more information.

The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET (MAMM) Management would like to inform everyone that we are still alive and kicking! We have not given up on the MAMM idea and are still hoping to bring back this incredible event one day. Until then, we fully support all the other local races/shows and ask everyone's support for them also. Have a safe and successful 2017 season!

We are sorry to say that yes the rumors are true....the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET has been put on hold until another venue can be found. Due to the over whelming request for use of the lot from other shops, company's and organizations and the size that the meet has grown to, Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has officially decided to pull the permit.

We want to thank everyone that came out to the 2016 MEGA MEET season opener and respected what these meets are all about. Just an FYI, the upper over flow lot across from the gas station IS NOT THE MEGA MEET LOT! You will be asked to leave if you are hanging around up there at any of the future meets. Please just park and walk on down to the lower VDOT lot and enjoy some of the nicest rides in the Mid Atlantic Region. The MEGA MEET Management has spent too much of their own time and money to have this all shut down because people can't behave themselves. Please, if you see anyone acting stupid, ask them to chill and just enjoy the meet. If they give you a problem, walk away and notify one of the MEGA MEET Staff so that we can get the police involved and take care of the situation. We would like these meets to continue to be safe for people of all ages. So, if you honestly cannot control your stupid acts, then please do not ever come back to the MEGA MEET because a lot of people would like these meets to stay around for a long time.

It has been a very long winter but spring is now nipping at our heels in hopes that all the car enthusiasts of the Mid Atlantic region will awake from their hibernation. Pull off those car covers, turn the key to hear the sound of that beast that you have been building for the past couple of months, and head on over to the 2016 Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET season opener on April 1st from 7pm to 11pm!

I would like to take this time to thank everyone that had a chance to come out and attend one of our events. It is because of all your support and help that what we did this year was possible. This was our first year, and we pulled over 1000 cars to each of our last four events and I am not sure how many came out to our last one but we closed the gates at 7:35pm because we could not fit any more cars into our now small 650 spot lot. It is amazing how fast the MEGA MEET grew and thus impacting the Mid Atlantic region in such a great way.

This is a dream that I have wanted to do for so long and it is finally happening. Big thanks to Ryan, Matt, Terri and Heather for helping me to organize these meets. Also thanks to the best staff; Simon, John, Brian, Scott J, Scott D, Sam, Christina, Josh, Elson, Drew and all of the rest. Finally, thanks to all of the sponsors who have helped us out in each their own way. You have all made the hard work worth while and that is why we are promising to make next year bigger and better. We can make this something that can be very beneficial for everyone, but most of all keep it fun for the people that do put in the hours....

The last MEGA MEET for the 2015 season will be on November 5th from 7:30pm to 11:00pm! Due to the huge support that we had at last months meet, we will be asking for 1 (one) non-perishable food item again per person as they enter the lot for the hurricane victims. The Fredericksburg Food Bank staff will be at the lot collecting the items with a bigger truck this time but I know we can fill it up again. Please feel free to bring more than one non-perishable food item if you would like because every little bit helps. If you forget to bring an item or just don't want to, a $1 donation is still being accepted to get into the lot. All the donations and money made from the food sales are going to be donated to the American Red Cross. Also, all proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be incorporated into the raffles "Grand Prize". There are a lot of people that attend these meets that never check the forums, so please pass on the word. Hope to see a huge showing again at this next meet.

Last night was one of the largest meets that the Mid Atlantic region has seen and it was a blast! We would like to say "Thank You" for the support that everyone showed by donating so much for the hurricane victims. I don't think the Fredericksburg Food Bank was expecting to receive that much.....they actually had to leave early because the large moving truck was completely full! Also, almost $800 was raised and will be donated to the American Red Cross along with the proceeds from this upcoming November 5th meet.

The MEGA MEET will be back at the Woodbridge VDOT lot at the intersection of I95 and Rt123 on October 1st from 7:30pm to 11:00pm. Instead of asking for a $1 to get in, we will be asking for 1 (one) non-perishable food item per person that we will be donating to the Fredericksburg Food Bank for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita. The Fredericksburg Food Bank staff will be at the lot with their truck to collect the items during this meet. Please feel free to bring more than 1 (one) non-perishable food item if you would like because every little bit helps. But please understand that the Fredericksburg Food Bank can only accept non-perishable items. If you forget to bring an item or just don't want to, a $1 donation is still being accepted to get into the lot. Our goal is to show how much the youth/car enthusiast groups in the Mid Atlantic Region care for others around us. Lets make it a huge meet by passing the word along so that we can collect a lot of items for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita.

The Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET staff will be at the nations largest car show having the time of our lives and you should too. The 2015 NOPI NATIONALS Motorsports Supershow is this upcoming weekend on September 17th and 18th at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. There are a lot of activities going on, so don't miss a single one. There is a huge car/truck/bike show, swim suit contest, model search, CCE hydraulic challenge, dyno competition, Fuzion burnout contest, and the db drag challenge. We are driving down early Friday and everyone is welcome to join us for a unforgettable experience.

It's now official, DCSPEED.net and the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET have partnered up to hold the LARGEST MEET EVER! (Until next year that is.) Our September MEGA MEET will not be held at the VDOT Lot. Instead, it will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2015 at Maryland International Raceway for the Imstar World Import Series. Everything that we can't do at the VDOT LOT we can "do" in the safe haven of MIR. Complete with trophies and cash prizes for the shows cars, trucks, and bikes. Drag race your way into the winners circle with classes that range from "Wild Street" to your "Fun Run" beater. Do you want to do a BURNOUT!? You can, to WIN cash and contingency prizes for smoking it up! Gates open at 10:00am, eliminations are at 2:00pm, and the awards ceremony is at 4:30pm. The MEGA MEET just keeps getting bigger and better every month. We cannot thank everyone enough for helping us keep our ideas alive and active by attending the meets.

Anothering amazing meet and thanks to everyone who came out! Considering that it was the 4th of July weekend, we used more than a full roll of raffle tickets. We gave 1 raffle ticket to each car when they chipped in a $1 donation at the entrance. This roll consisted of 800 raffle tickets and we ran out of the blue roll and had to start a new roll of red raffle tickets later on that night. The lot was full the entire night and everything was timed just right. Cars would keep coming in and then people would decide to leave, so the lot was never overly full. The best part of the MEGA MEET is that you can have so many different vehicles all in one place and they can be there legally and not worry about fights, burnouts, revving, and the po-po kicking them out.

The next meet will be held on Saturday, July 2nd, 2015 from 7:30pm - 11:00pm. Due to the number of vehicles that attended the last two meets, there are going to be a couple of changes made. Prince William County Police and Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) are now requiring us to hire 2 officers, one for each entrance. Also some decisions had to be made about parking since we cannot move the meet to another lot until our permit expires at the end of this year. The organizers are asking for a $1 donation as you enter the parking lot. With this dollar donation, you will receive parking in the MEGA MEET lot and 1 raffle ticket. Please do not lose this raffle ticket if you want the chance to win some great prizes from our sponsors! However, if you decide not to make this donation, then you may park at the top of the hill in the open parking lot. You may not park at the gas station or the Hampton Inn because your vehicle will be towed! All vehicles that are trailered to the lot, must be in the lot and unloaded before 8:00pm. The truck and trailers are then allowed to park at the upper parking lot at the top of the hill. Be on time if you want a good parking spot in the MEGA MEET lot! These changes had to be made because we want to be able to keep the meet up and running for a long time. We thank everyone for their support!

The meet was bigger than any of us ever expected. At 9:00, the lot was completely full, so full that people were finding a spot anywhere and everywhere. The decision to close the lot to people coming in was made by Prince William Police and we could not do anything about it except to follow their direction. We were then finally able to open the entrance back up when there were spots available and the police agreed. Overall, the meet was incredible in our eyes. It was larger than last months meet and the only problem we had was running out of parking spots. I do thank all of you for attending the meet and showing your support because that is what motivates us to keep it going each month.

The next MEGA MEET will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2015 starting at 7:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Simply amazing are the first words that come to mind as I think back on the meet last night. It was incredible to look down onto the VDOT lot from the surrounding exit ramps and see so many beautiful cars gather in one place for a meet. The organizers and sponsors of the Mid Atlantic MEGA Meet would like to put out a huge "Thank You" to everyone who attended the meet last night and for participating in the raffle and donations. It would not have been such a success without all of you! The night turned out great with no complaints from anyone including the many officers that were watching our every move. They were suprised at how organized and relaxed the meet went and so were we with an estimated 600+ cars showing their support by attending.

We have put up a directions page for people who were not able to go to the first meet. We promise that this meet will be better organized, more fun, and we hope a hell of allot warmer. This is a meet for everyone and anyone.....bring as many people as possible. There are several clubs that are coming from the north and south. The more people the merrier, but unlike other meets, good behavior will be enforced!!!!!

We just got off the phone with the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Prince William Police Department and officially have the permit. It is a go for the Mid Atlantic MEGA MEET! The first meet will be on the 5th of March from 7pm-11pm or so. If you have a car club or just a large group of friends that would like to attend, let us know so that we can hold spots. This is a park and meet. There will not be any driving around. Hopefully this will limit the amount of people acting like an idiot and getting us kicked out. It is right off of I95 and we do not have to be super quite but please no burn outs or crap like that. However, you are more than welcome to play your music. See ya in a couple of months!
